The National Congress of the Chinese Mechanical Society in 2010 and the eighth and ninth sessions of the Board of Directors were held from 17 to 20 October 2010 at the Dalian Bangchui Island Hotel. More than 200 delegates attended the meeting. At this meeting, Prof. Huang Fenglei of the School of Mechatronical Engineering of the Beijing Institute of Technology was elected as the ninth executive director of the Chinese Society of Mechanics.
