On April 13, 2012, the State Key Laboratory of Explosive Science and Technology convened the 2012 Key Laboratory Work Conference in the 6th floor conference room of Building 9. The meeting was attended by professors and associate professors of the laboratory. The meeting invited Vice Minister Hu Jun of the Ministry of Science and Technology of the Academy of Science. He represented the competent department and affirmed the work of key laboratories and proposed tasks and requirements.

Zhang Qingming, director of the 2012 work report, reviewed the work and results in 2011, put forward the current problems in the laboratory and the challenges faced, and the 2012 key laboratory work was deployed. Five Directors of Research Department made plans for the 2012 Research Department at the meeting.

At the meeting, well-known experts and professors such as Huang Fenglei, Feng Shunshan, and Wang Yandong expressed their opinions and views on the development and evaluation of laboratories, and proposed directions and measures for improvement. The meeting achieved the expected results.
