On the afternoon of November 5th, at the invitation of the State Key Laboratory of Explosive Science and Technology, Prof. Ahmed MéBARKI from University Paris-Est came to the school and gave a wonderful academic report entitled “Natural & Industrial Risks-Integrate Frameworks” for teachers and students.

Prof. Wang Liqiong, deputy director of the State Key Laboratory of Explosive Science and Technology, Prof. Wang Cheng, deputy director, Associate Professor Li Shengcai and Associate Professor Zheng Bo listened to the report. The report was chaired by Associate Professor Li Shengcai.

Prof. Ahmed Mébarki has been engaged in research on explosion and security for a long time, and has published many academic papers in important international journals. Combining the research results of its research group for many years, the four types of disasters such as industrial explosions, earthquakes, floods, and droughts are described in detail in terms of their destructive effects, protection, and domino effect. Professor Ahmed MéBARKI answered questions one by one. After the report, further cooperation and exchanges were discussed.
