报告摘要:
In this presentation, a brief history of safety science progress will be introducing the state-of-the-art of process safety at present. Furthermore, it will be argued that a new paradigm shift is needed for revolutionizing process safety in the chemical industry, and this paradigm shift can be summarized with the acronym CHESS. CHESS stands for five domains that need a shift in the chemical industry, that is Cooperation, High Transparency, Education and training, Security, and Safety innovation. Examples will be provided, both theoretical and very concrete.
