报告人简介：

孙长明于1986年获得北京航空航天大学理学学士学位。他于1992年在英国伦敦帝国理工学院获得了计算机视觉博士学位，然后加入澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织(CSIRO)工作。目前是负责研究并从事应用项目的首席研究科学家。他还是澳大利亚新南威尔士大学计算机科学与工程学院的兼职教授。他目前的研究兴趣包括计算机视觉，图像分析和模式识别。他曾在各种国际会议的计划/组织委员会中任职。他是《 EURASIP图像和视频处理期刊》的副编辑。

报告摘要：

Stereo vision is the extraction of 3D information from two or more sets of 2D images which are obtained from different views. There are a wide range of applications for stereo vision in fields such as robotics, entertainment, and remote sensing. In this talk, some of our methods on some of the key components in a stereo vision system will be presented. These include our methods on feature detection, feature matching, image rectification, and image dense matching. Several application examples will also be given.
