报告人简介:

CHAN Hay Yee, Serene (Dr), Senior Research Fellow. Dr Chan graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering, Chemical (Hons) degree from the National University of Singapore in 2001. She was subsequently awarded a joint scholarship by Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd (CSM) and National University of Singapore (NUS) for her Ph.D candidature. Her Ph.D work was a trilateral program involving NUS, CSM as well as the Institute of High Performance Computing (IHPC). She was also awarded the A *STAR graduate scholarship in 2002.

Upon conferment of her doctorate, she joined CSM’s R&D team as senior engineer, specializing in advanced lithography techniques particularly mask layout, IC design and generation on mask as well as technology tapeout operations. She later joined an intellectual property firm drafting patent specifications in the chemical and life sciences team.

She joined EnRl as Research Fellow in 2009 and was promoted to Senior Research Fellow in 2012. Her research interests include combustion science, detonation physics and chemistry, parameterization and modification of equations of state for energetic materials, modeling and simulation of threat tests to predict hazard response and the development of codes and subroutines for modelling sub-detonative events.
