Prof. Mohamad ASSAD works in the Heat and Mass Transfer Institute of National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. And he is the Leading Scientist of Laboratory of Physical and Chemical Hydrodynamics. Prof. ASSAD is majoring in the following fields: thermophysics and thermal engineering, experimental physics of combustion and detonation, heat engines.

报告摘要:

Increasing the thrust of jet engines is always an urgent task in the aviation and jet-motor industries. The use of detonation makes it possible to increase the thrust of a jet engine. In the present lecture we will consider the modern statement of the DE development and the problems inherent in this field. Also, we will dwell on the basic concepts of the use of detonation in jet engines, and on the main features of the PDE operating work: the dynamics of the wave propagation, influence of various physical-chemical and technical means that accelerate the DDT, the dynamics of the PDE thrust, and other characteristics.
